1-1 Training

Have an individualized program tailored to meet your fitness goals.  Workout in my private studio  1-2-3x per week.

Semi-private sessions     

Workout with a friend in my studio. I will create a program that will accommodate both of your fitness needs.

Group Training

I am the owner of Fitnessmotivators and Get Fit Norwalk. I have been a personal trainer since 1997. I have worked in a Physical Therapy office where I picked up valuable knowledge.

 

I am Certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and The International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA).

 

As a trainer I have worked with a variety of clients from different walks of life from  12 - 78.  All of my clients have enjoyed an increase in energy and an improved sense of well being. Many of my clients have experienced great success in their programs, losing upwards of 50, 60, and even 80lbs!  Others have been able to cut down on medications for depression, cholesterol and cortisone treatments.

 

I have found 3 factors to be common  in the clients who had the greatest success. 

1. A strong desire to make a lifestyle change and put in some work when I am not with them.

2. A commitment to a healthier diet.

3. A willingness to leave their comfort zone.

 

You can expect to meet with me for an initial assessment during which we will  get baseline body measurements. From there we do a flexibility assessment and

then some basic exercises that will help me gauge your fitness level.

This helps me to create your Individualized Exercise Program. From there I use a systematic progression of exercises, weights, resistance, etc, to help you reach your goals.

 

Many of my programs are derived from  strength and conditioning protocols. Others are corrective in nature to treat underlying muscle imbalances and will progress from bodyweight exercise to resistance training.  Other exercises are along the lines of HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training. Don't let the sound scare you. Everything from the corrective exercises the intensity of the intervals and strength training is all individualized based on your fitness level.  I do not have cookie cutter programs that are one size fits all.

 

The ultimate goal is to build lean muscle mass, maintain or increase bone density, burn fat, increase metabolism, with the end result of reaching your goals and making you feel GREAT!
